TESTIMONY

God changes everything.

About a year ago, I started coming to Teen Outlet with absolutely no expectations. I had no idea how much God was going to change my life through this ministry.

Over the past year, I’ve had the privilege of watching so many young people come to Christ, grow in their faith, and completely change their lives.

Now, doors have opened for me to serve as a leader in this ministry, something I never would have imagined when I first walked through those doors.

God has given me a confidence I didn’t have before, and I’ve seen such a difference in my anxiety and the way I face things.

Teen Outlet has shown me that sometimes God puts you somewhere without you knowing why, and then you get to look back and see exactly what He was doing.

I’m so thankful for everything God has done in me and through me over this past year, and I can’t wait to see what He does next.

TESTIMONY

God took me from darkness to His light.

A little over a year and a half ago, I didn’t really have a relationship with God. I was struggling with depression, feeling like I wasn’t good enough, and was trapped in a smoking addiction. But God found me in that darkness and brought me into His light.

Through His strength, He freed me from smoking, changed my mindset, and helped me build a healthier lifestyle. When I was 315 pounds, I never imagined I could become the person I am today. With God’s strength, courage, and my devotion to Him, He transformed not only my body, but my heart and mind too.

God taught me to face life with faith instead of fear. He taught me how to forgive those who hurt me deeply and broke my heart, and how to choose love instead of holding onto pain. Most importantly, He helped me truly know Him. A year and a half ago, I barely had a relationship with God, and now He lives in my heart and mind forever.

God took me from darkness, doubt, and brokenness and showed me His way. He created a new version of me that I never thought was possible.

Today, I’m blessed to serve as a Youth Leader in this life-changing ministry, where I get to serve God, continue growing in my faith, and help guide and encourage others. I know I wouldn’t be where I am today without Him.

I’m forever grateful for what God has done, what He is doing, and what He will continue to do in my life.

TESTIMONY

A life of faith, worship & purpose.

Through Teen Outlet Ministry, God has done significant work in my life as well as in the lives of so many others. After living for the world and for myself for so long, I eventually decided to change my lifestyle for the better.

During that time, I felt I didn’t have anyone my age who also shared my struggles or could truly understand them. I was isolated from community and fellowship, yet what I needed most was that kind of love and connection to help me understand my purpose, recognize my gifts and experience the love that God and my friends had for me.

Through the Teen Outlet Ministry, I have witnessed so many faithful students and the adults who support them obeying God so that prayers may be answered, people may be delivered, and blessings may unfold.

As a youth leader within the ministry, I am reminded that my life serves as an example to others. My responsibility as a leader is to reflect the love of Jesus and disciple students to follow Him. One of the primary ways I do this is through serving as a worship leader and authentically expressing my love for Christ through song.

Worship is beautiful, but it is not solely about music or singing; it is about honoring God in every area of our lives, even in the smallest moments. It is incredibly meaningful to see a generation that loves the Lord and is actively striving to make a difference.
